PCD =Pussycat Dolls or Pitch Circle Diameter???

PCD for alloy wheels is the abbreviation for Pitch Circle Diameter meaning the measurement of the stud pattern on your vehicle. Not Pussycat dolls which is the number one return for PCD in google.

The correct PCD is important for your alloys and car as it locates the wheel centrally on your hub ensuring smooth running. If for example a 4x98 Fiat wheel was put onto a 4x100 Vauxhall then it would fit but it would be off centre when the bolts are tightened up. This will result in wheel wobble and eventually a bolt or stud will snap as it's under extreme stress and far more than it's designed for and you may find your wheel passing you on the motorway! Which is not a good thing..

Always fit the correct PCD as its extremely dangerous to fit any other, if in doubt or you need advice please see BK Racing website and email them for free advice.
